BRUNE UV Replacement Lamp for B 500
The BRUNE UV Replacement 6-Watt Lamp is designed for use with the BRUNE B 500 Professional Humidifier to maintain the UV disinfection system for reliable performance and hygienic operation.
During operation, the humidifier water is continuously circulated through a stainless-steel chamber containing the UV lamp, which is protected by quartz glass. The design creates a thin layer of water close to the UV lamp, allowing intensive exposure to short-wave UV light that inactivates microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and mold spores by damaging their cellular structures and helps prevent their multiplication in the water and inside the humidifier.
The disinfected water is then returned to the water circuit and directed through the limescale conversion cartridge to the evaporation filter, supporting hygienic and efficient humidification.
Warning: UV radiation can be harmful to the eyes and skin. Avoid direct exposure to the UV light and never look directly at an illuminated UV lamp.
